AA House

Architecture aims to observe, find, and optimize our understanding which relates to the built environment. In this project, we faced a strange desire from the owner to build his house. Come up with the word ‘else/anomaly’ as a keyword, we as architects try to comprehend the word anomaly and rationalize it to the built environment—by carrying on the head of the substance of architecture principle.

One of our distinct decisions related to the space program is the accessibilities. Mostly, the access of the rooms is orientated to be weakened and more hidden. We dissimulate the placement of the door intending to create a labyrinth effect to feel and experience by the user. For example, the circular path to access the entrance which is not visible from the building facade.

We keep using standard dimensions of human ergonomics to determine the size of each room. Prioritizing the functionality and ergonomics would create a familiar and comfortable feeling for the user in their daily activities
